LUCÍA GRACEY

Soy historiadora, graduada en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), fotógrafa y escritora. Estudié Fotografía en la UNSAM (Argentina) y en el IEFC (España). Como fotógrafa, participé de dos exposiciones colectivas: en el CC Can Basté con “La noche” y en la Biblioteca Agustì Centelles con “Chinos y bravas” y en Urban Trieste Photo Awards. Mi carrera como escritora comenzó como cronista de viajes por Sudamérica y luego, a raíz de mi estadía en México y China, escribí mi primera novela “Un año nuevo chino”. He publicado en algunos medios digitales como Huellas de la Historia,Digan sus Elogios, y Amor al Caos. También he vivido en Brasil, Italia y los Países Bajos. Actualmente resido en Barcelona, desde donde imparto talleres de escritura y trabajo como fotógrafa independiente, mientras escribo mi segundo libro.
He dedicado mi vida a estudiar, entender y divulgar temáticas como la diversidad cultural, identidades comunitarias y sociedades alternativas. También me intereso por las contradicciones del capitalismo y los espacios de resistencia y reinvención de forma colectiva.

I am a Historian, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), a Photographer and a Writer. I studied Photography at UNSAM (Argentina) and IEFC (Spain). As a Photographer, I participated in two collective exhibitions: at the CC Can Basté with “La noche” and at the Agustì Centelles Library with “Chinos y bravas” and in Urban Trieste Photo Awards 2024. My career as a Writer began as a travel chronicler in South America and then, as a result of my experience in Mexico and China, I wrote my first novel, called “Un año nuevo chino”. I have published articles and stories in some digital media such as Huellas de la Historia, Digan sus Elogios, Plasma, and Amor al Caos. I have also lived in Brazil, Italy and the Netherlands. I currently have my home in Barcelona, where I give writing workshops and work as a Freelance Photographer, while writing my second novel.
I have dedicated my life to study, understand and disseminate issues such as cultural diversity, community identities and alternative societies. I am also interested in the contradictions of capitalism and spaces of collective resistance and reinvention.
